Eleven Whiteville High female and eight male track and field athletes secured finishes of eighth or better to earn points in Friday’s 2A Mideast Regional at Franklinton High School.

Whiteville’s women’s team scored 50 points with Serenity Harvey leading the way with 25.5 points. Harvey’s second place times in the 100 M Dash, 200M Dash and second place distance in the high jump all qualified for recognition as Silver Elite Performances.
