South Columbus defeated visiting Whiteville 3–2 in the final regular season match for both teams. With the victory, South Columbus earned a Waccamaw Conference women’s soccer co-championship. The Stallions and Trask tied for the title with 8–1–1 records. Trask received the conference’s automatic playoff bid due to a better head-to-head record (1–0–1) with the Stallions.

South’s JaNaya Frinks scored the contest's first goal, assisted by Ashdon Grigsby. Grigsby scored off of a Perla Mederos’ corner kick to go up 2–0. Camille Priest scored for Whiteville on a free kick to narrow the margin to 2–1 before halftime.
