Bright Ideas grants

Columbus County Schools recognized local winners of Brunswick Electric Membership Corporation’s Bright Ideas Educational Grants at the Nov. 7 school board meeting. Brunswick Electric Membership Corporation awarded $34,160 last month to 24 local teachers in Brunswick and Columbus counties to fund creative, engaging projects for their students, according to a release from the cooperative.

The funds support projects that bring learning to life in reading, math and the sciences. The following 10 Columbus County Schools teachers received grants for their projects:
