In an Oct. 14 letter to Interim Sheriff Bill Rogers, Mark Ezzell, director of the Governor’s Highway Safety Program, explains that Greene’s statements and the contents of the subsequent removal petition filed by District Attorney Jon David suggest that the sheriff’s office “may not be in the compliance with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and other provisions” required in its agreement with GHSP.
