A grant from the North Carolina Tobacco Trust Fund Commission will allow Southeastern Community College to construct a greenhouse to support its agriculture program.

In an Oct. 26 news release announcing the $374,500 grant, SCC said the “state-of-the art structure will make way for advancing agriculture, horticulture and animal science research.” The greenhouse will be located on campus, and construction is expected to begin in spring 2023.
